Training has officially started, I had all the parts of my bike ready to go and on Tuesday I went over to my friends how’s and 4 hours later I had a fully working Road bike!!!!!

The week started off with the Reading sportive, a pretty chilled 47 miles with Sarah and her Dad on a flat-ish route, there were two big climbs but over all it was an excellent route that I will definitely save to do again in the future.

Since deciding to not hold back on training while waiting for the road bike to finally get sorted I arranged a few 54 mile cycles up to Reading this month, with the 5th June being the first one since my Road bike broke on the 9th April!

I had another really good week of training this week! I am still on the Cyclocross but have decided that I cant let this hold me back, as I only have three full months of training time left before the RAB!

I have finally managed to get an early morning swim in on my way to work, Tri-suit on and leaving the house at 06:10, cycle to gym and in the pool for 06:30, 30 laps then cycle to Winchester (17 miles) getting into work about 08:15.

The last week has been a great one, the weather has changed and it has been really sunny, which makes cycling a pleasure! The Triathlon was awesome and I did really well, full update on it posted previously.
